Enriching Students for Office Hours
Santiago is adding Enriching Students to help make Office Hours more efficient for students. The Enriching Students program will allow students to either be invited to Office Hours, or they will pre-select where they will get the help they need or enrichment and have a guaranteed seat.
Why are we adding ES?
- To enhance students’ options and decision making.
- Also, will allow student to see invites from teachers.
- Notes posted by the teacher will tell students what to bring, or if it the session is closed to non-Shark scholars, or for testing.
What is the benefit to students?
- Unless invited students take control of where they go.
- Less guessing about what is going on in each class, won’t be turned away if they signed up in ES.
- Will know where to go once the bell rings
What will you need?
- Computer OR
- Phone
How to do it?
- Simple sign in through the “MyCNUSD” dashboard and Google
- Tutorial on the program
When to do it?
- Before Office Hours
- Wednesdays specifically during classes
What if I don’t sign up?
- An email will be sent home to alert the student and parent
- You will be assigned that morning to one of you teachers
What if I don’t attend?
- Attendance will be taken, so an absence is same as a cut in any other class.

Corona-Norco Unified School District Winter Sports Press Release
Corona-Norco Unified School district is committed to providing safe in-person Academic instruction and Athletic competitions for all student athletes, parents, and guardians. Recent data has shown a strong upward trend in Covid positive cases in California and the Corona-Norco Community. As a result, we will implement what we hope are temporary policies and procedures in line with keeping our athletes and families safe during this time beginning with all indoor athletic related contests the week of January 10, 2022.
- Four (4) immediate family members of our indoor sports athletes will be permitted to attend athletic contests. No public admission will be permitted.
- Family members will be provided specific school issued wristbands for each contest and will be expected to wear these wristbands prior to entry.
- Guests in attendance will be expected to wear an approved face covering throughout the duration of the event and to socially distance in family pods.
It is our hope that these measures are temporary as we navigate these difficult circumstances in order to insure the health and welfare of our student athletes and their families. Please reach out to your specific school site administrators with any questions or clarification.

How can we start this new year happier? Things have certainly not been easy over the last year, and we are still in difficult and uncertain times. The best way to try to handle our difficult emotions and experiences is by focusing on what we can control. This month, we're encouraging everyone to focus on small steps to try to boost happiness - for ourselves and others around us - to spread kindness and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
Care Solace
- Care Solace is an online resource with a live 24x7 concierge line meant to assist individuals in finding local mental health-related programs and counseling services.

Care Solace takes into account all types of private insurance including Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and Medicare and those that have no insurance. The system also filters by age, gender, zip code, and special request.
- Care Solace is now available for use by CNUSD students, staff, and families at no cost. Please note, this service is an optional resource available by choice and is not mandatory in any way. Care Solace does not require a user’s name, address, phone number, or date of birth.
