As COVID-19 is having an unprecedented mental health cost on Bexar County families, we want to provide information and encouragement to all parents. That’s why we are launching a virtual Strong Minds Happy Hearts event. I am writing to see if you would consider sharing this upcoming event with your counseling team, and maybe promote it to families within your district. We will host 3 of these community-wide virtual events this spring.
Strong Minds Happy Hearts:
- is an information and networking event
- includes a talk on warning signs and guided conversations in small groups
- is offered in a virtual format during the lunch hour
Strong Minds and Happy Hearts
is a virtual event designed to inform parents and family members about warning signs, connect them with other parents and professionals and encourage them about seeking help for their child if needed. This virtual event is free and open to the public. Registration is required and will close on Feb 9. Here is how to register:
- Go to https://signin.webex.com/join and enter the following code where it says “Enter the meeting information”: 179 921 7510
- You will get to a meeting description and see a Register link in blue next to Not Started. Click on it and fill out the form.
- Once you’re registered and you will get an email with the information to connect.
