Tech Expo Brings New Opportunities and Fun
The CCS Tech Department presented the 2019 Tech Expo for teachers returning from their holiday break last week. There were 39 sessions available during the half day event. Teachers from within the system and guest presenters from across the state provided outstanding professional development opportunities for our teachers. The Tech Expo received great support from community businesses, as well. Over $1800 worth of door prizes were donated by our community partners. Drawing for these door prizes was a great way to end a fun and informative day.
Toucans Can, Can You?
Can you code? Can you create loops? These CCPS students in the Toucan Class can!
CMS Teachers Bond with Bowling
Participating in activities outside of the schools walls is a great way for teachers to bond. Team building was in full swing as CMS teachers took to the lanes for a time of fellowship and bonding! (There were some cool socks on display, as well!)
Flipping for FlipGrid
One of the fantastic tools presented at the Tech Expo was FlipGrid. WES students and teachers are loving it.
What's Your Word
These EES students began the new year and the new semester by selecting one word that would help them focus on an area in their life in which they want to improve, grow, or do more. Sounds like a great beginning!
Math Vocabulary
These WES students were working on their math lesson. They were using impressive math vocabulary to describe their thinking (inverse).
Students First
Informative and productive PST at EES ensures students are getting the support they need and deserve.
Sunny But Cold
The temperature dropped but the sun was out! CCPS students dressed for the cold and enjoyed the sunshine.
