School Day for In--Person Learning
If arriving after 7:40, please come around to the front office to have temperature checked and sign-in to enter classroom. After 7:40, your student is tardy.
2:40-2:55 Dismissal by Viking Hall
If arriving after 2:55 to pick up your student, please come around to the front office to pick up your student.
Morning Drop-Off
Middle School has begun In-Person Learning and they are working to help drop-off be more efficient. Thank you for your patience as we work out the issues together.
Please remember that students may not exit vehicles in the morning until you have pulled up to a staff member that is stationed by a cone. The staff member will check your child's temperature before allowing him/her to exit the vehicle. If your child has a temperature of 100.0 or higher, the staff member will give you the option to take your child home or ask you to pull around to the back and have the nurse do a second check. This will help keep our car rider drop-off line running smoothly.
Thank you so much for your understanding as we work together to ensure that our students and staff stay healthy!

Making Good Choices
WEDNESDAYS ARE COLLEGE DAYS
If your child would like to join us in celebrating college awareness, please have him/her wear college clothing each Wednesday. We have a friendly wager going: Will there be more 4th graders or more 5th graders wearing college gear this week? This is one way that we remind students to consider higher education choices. Thanks for supporting this initiative.

Thanks for partnering with us! We are so happy to see all children here at the Intermediate School. It has been a fantastic week of getting to know each other and getting into the rhythm of the 2020-21 school year. MEDICATIONS NEED TO BE KEPT WITH THE NURSE
Just a quick reminder that students are not allowed to carry medication with them at school (exceptions are inhaler/EPI pen). If your student must carry an inhaler or EPI pen, you will need to complete new permission forms for the 2020-2021 school year.
If you would like to keep over the counter meds in the clinic, they must be sent in their original container and you will need to complete new permission forms.
You can review our Medication Administration Policy HERE before sending medication to school.
Click here to download the school medication permission form.
Click here for the form needed in order for your child to carry an inhaler with them.
Please print and fill out the appropriate forms. You may bring them to your child's school directly or fax.
- Intermediate Fax: 512-267-8363
These forms are only current for this school year and if you would like to drop medication off before face to face instructions start, please reach out to Nurse Carmichael at Regina_carmichael@lagovista.txed.net or 512-267-8300 ext. 3505.
