No School--Spring Fling Festival
A Note from the Principal
The excitement is building as our eighth graders are putting in the final hours of rehearsal as they prepare for opening night of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr. tomorrow, Friday, at 7:30 p.m. Don't worry if you can't make it tomorrow night because there are additional performances on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The students have put in hours of practice after school, and I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. I would be remiss not to thank the director, Mrs. Kelly Monaghan, and the team of parent volunteers who have made this all happen. To put on a musical such as this truly takes a team effort--THANK YOU to all those involved! Break a leg, eighth graders!
Peace and blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal
Spring Fling....WE NEED YOU!
Spring Fling Raffle Ticket Challenge
Spring Fling Raffle Tickets have been sent out, and Father Lane is challenging each class to sell those raffle tickets! Each family is encouraged to purchase raffle tickets to support our Catholic School. Whether one book or the entire set, any tickets you are able to sell will aid us in reducing our expenses and provide much needed revenue toward our excellent school. Spring Fling is one way we invest/subsidize our Catholic school and reduce our annual deficit.
The class with the greatest percentage of tickets sold will earn a pizza party. If multiple classes have 100% participation, each class will earn a pizza party courtesy of Father Lane.
If the entire school and every class makes its goal, Father Lane will shave his head on May 17 after the Saint Paschal Baylon Memorial Mass.
Please return ticket stubs and money to the school, making sure to indicate your family name and students' room numbers on the envelope. Good luck!

Playground Volunteers Needed-Kindergarten, All Grades
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:15 am-12:50 pm. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:10 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting the students to and from the school doors. Volunteers will be with one school staff member each day to help direct.
Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the following links to sign up: Kindergarten, All Grades (June)
Our sincere thanks to the following parents who were able to volunteer during the month of April: Mrs. Jamie DeSanto, Mrs. Amber Lupardus, Mrs. Lisa Kane, Mrs. Meghan Soriano, Mrs. Vicki Urbas, Mrs. Megan Buchter, Mrs. Grace Powell, Mrs. Abby Reinier, Mrs. Kim Santagata, Mr. Greg Baitt, Mrs. Janelle Puntel.

What is the Angel Scholarship Fund?
New Ohio Scholarship Tax-Credit Program Lets You “Turn Taxes into Tuition” by directing Your Tax Dollars to our Catholic School Students
Through the Angel Scholarship Fund, you can now contribute funds that will be used to provide tuition assistance for students to attend our Catholic schools, for which you may receive a 100% Ohio income tax credit of up to $750 ($1,500 if married filing jointly) against your 2022 state tax liability. In other words, the state of Ohio allows you to "spend" some of the state income taxes you must pay anyway to provide tuition assistance for students seeking an education in our Catholic schools. This SHORT VIDEO explains how easy it is to contribute to the Angel Scholarship Fund.
