Art Guild

Welcome to the Swartz Creek Area Art Guild, a 501c3 non-profit organization established in 2010, dedicated to promoting interest in the visual arts through education and development of artistic activities. Guild membership is open to all fine art and fine craft artists. Our members’ talents are varied and include, among other mediums, oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic painting, pencil and charcoal drawing, photography, fabric, woodworking, jewelry, and basket weaving. The primary requirement for membership is a love and enjoyment for all things artistic.

Guild volunteers operate the Swartz Creek Art Gallery as an outlet for members to display and sell their artwork. Weekly classes and occasional workshops for members and non-members throughout the year are an added bonus. The Gallery is a gathering place for all members to ply their craft, learn, share and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow artists.

Guild meetings are held the first Monday of each month, 6:00pm at the Swartz Creek Senior Center. Everyone is welcome. Stop in. Meet your local artist community, share your work and broaden your horizons.
