About The Book

The main characters in the book called middle school save Rafe are Rafe who is the main character and also Rafe's mom his sister and his principal and vice principal. This book takes place at Rafe's house, HVMS school and at camp. The problem in this book is that Rafe's school Air book arts is closing down forever. so that means that Rafe will have to go back to his old school from where he got expelled. When Rafe goes to his old school HVMS the principal says that Rafe can not be accepted but he can only if he completes this camp. So Rafe has to camp for a week. At camp he has some difficulty's but still completes the camp. When Rafe comes back to his principal and tells he completes the camp he is finally accepted but will have some special classes.

My Song

I choose the song Radioactive because in the book Rafe is in camp and is waking up to dirt everyday and feels like he is in prison. Rafe also feels like he is about to explode because he misses his family and has eaten so little food and is very tired of surviving in the wilderness with out tools to help.

Song Lyrics

Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa
I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals
(inhale) (exhale)

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive

I raise my flags, don my clothes
It's a revolution, I suppose
We're painted red to fit right in
Whoa

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive

All systems go, the sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm radioactive, radioactive
