Please review the 10 Teach 10 graphic about the JCMS Guidelines for Classroom Passes. We will implement these guidelines on Tuesday, November 12th. If your student lost his/her planner, he/she can purchase one in the office for $5, or he/she can bring his/her own personal planner to use.

Science with Ms. Hoyle
In science students are learning about velocity and speed. They will work through labs to be able to collect data and use it to calculate speed. | Math with Mrs. BangeTuesday- Lesson 4: Writing Products as Sums and Sums as Products- Students will practice expanding and factoring expressions Wednesday-Quiz over lessons 1-4 Thursday-Quiz Corrections over lessons 1-4 Friday- Lesson 5: Using the Identify and Inverse to Write Equivalent Expressions- Notes and problem set Please check with your student and make sure they have a 1" binder specifically for math. Many students' binders broke or were lost the first semester. If they do not have one, please send one for them to use. | World Geography with Mr. AkagiTuesday we are finishing Russia with the art of Wassily Kandinsky. He was an abstract artist that used colors that spoke throughout Russia’s geography and history. Students will emulate this with our first 80% assignment. On Wednesday we will start our new unit on East Asia. East Asia only has a few countries: Mongolia, Japan, China, Taiwan, and North and South Korea. This will let us focus on each of these countries longer, and on Thursday and Friday we’ll be taking a look at Mongolia. |
