Announcements

  • Our lost and found is piling high! If you are missing anything, please take a look through our collection of missing items this month. All unclaimed items will be donated March 1st.

Excited about several new Markers!

Our third, fourth, fifth, and sixth new Markers had a great first week, and we are so happy to have them join our family! Thank you for your help sharing your love of Saint Mark's with others. Your positive efforts (both face-to-face and via our online reviews -see below) have contributed to families coming for a tour and enrolling. We have had the pleasure of meeting several prospective families this week! Most of these families have heard about us because of current Markers spreading the good news. This positive word of mouth is essential and it is also so much appreciated. Thank you!

A Tasty Event

This Thursday, we enjoyed our first (inaugural) Taste of Saint Mark's open house. We say inaugural because it was so fun and delicious that we absolutely must repeat it! Thanks to the families (Le, Blommel, Barseghyan/Manukyan, Cherinat, and Torres) who provided such excellent foods! Thanks to the staff who prepared engaging samples of Saint Mark's for families to enjoy. When you receive the 2018-2019 calendar in a few weeks, be sure to mark your calendar for next winter's Taste of Saint Mark's open house!

Marker Monday

Please join us this coming Monday, February 26th, for Marker Monday at Longfellow Grill! This was last year's top Marker Monday in terms of funds raised for the school. See the flyer below for all the details for Monday!

Catholic Student Financial Raffle

Their is still time to sell tickets for the Catholic Student Financial Raffle, and we are very near to reaching our goal! The final extended deadline for bringing in your raffle sales is this Monday, February 26th.

Thank you to everyone who has participated so far!

Help needed for Grand Old Day

Grand Old Day is coming up in early June, and we are planning to participate in the parade again this year! We are in need of volunteers for the Saint Mark's float, as well as a truck with a hitch and a trailer to transport our float. If you are interested in helping or would like more information, please contact Zachary Zeckser or Jana Hayden-Sofio. Thank you!

Saint Mark's Annual Golf Day

Thinking about warmer weather? Good news: planning for Saint Mark's Golf Day 2018, is gearing up. Join the committee to plan the fun. RSVP to Jana Hayden-Sofio to have in-"putt" on Golf Day.

Get it on the calendar now: Golf Day will be Sun., June 24 at Highland National in Saint Paul.

We hope to see you there!

New Convent for PES Sisters

It is our pleasure to announce that the Pro Ecclesia Santa (PES) Sisters, have been given a new convent in Bloomington! The convent was previously owned by the Poor Clares, however they are downsizing and have blessed our Sisters with their home. The move will not happen until Summer, and the Sisters will continue to serve as they have been just the same. There will be an open house on March 4th to welcome everyone to their new home! Please see the flyer below for more details.

Box Tops

Friendly reminder to collect and bring in your box tops to school! This is the last time Box Tops will be collected for the school year. The money raised from Box Tops goes to purchasing new books for the Library. Each grade has a classroom goal and there are some great prizes to award to classes that reach their goal! The last day to bring in Box Tops is this Tuesday, February 27th.

Thank you!
