SBHS Mid-Week Updates
Wednesday, April 1, 2020
It's only Wednesday and our Pirates have already made a district, state and national impact this week. Congratulations to Brendan Lawson who received the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Heart of a Champion award on Monday and our winter athletes who made 3-A All Conference. A special congratulations goes to River Carroll, the Wrestler of the Year, Justin Biggs, the Winter Track Athlete of the Year and Coach Scott Evans, Ladies and Men Swim Coach of the Year.
If your soul is weary this week, we encourage you to view the Swansboro High School Virtual Amazing Grace production. Special thanks to Mr. Daniel Scott for his efforts to produce this masterpiece with the hope of bringing joy and peace during our national crisis.
We hope that you are enjoying our virtual spirit week. Please continue to vote nightly by 8 pm on our SBHS Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/swansboro.high.98
Parents of Seniors: Thank you for your continued patience as we await guidance from NCDPI and Onslow County Schools. We understand that students and parents are anxious for more information and ask that all seniors actively continue their remote coursework and await official guidance from our district and state leaders. We appreciate your continued support during this time.
Being isolated can be a stressful time for students. Be sure to reach out to one of our counselors if you would like to schedule a virtual chat: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=2oj0MM90xkqfNEBYMyDapDN6uTBNULFJlyWug6L-xUZUOUFYNkJEVDYwVkkxR1Q3U0tTTjZXV1o4OC4u
