7th Grade REACH ELA!!!
Mrs. Rembert
Teacher's Message....
Greetings and welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! I am excited about working with this year's seventh graders, and I look forward to the instructional journey that awaits us!! My goal is to help each student reach his or her academic potential thereby engaging students in challenging instruction. The instructional design of this class requires that students exercise higher-order thinking by utilizing creativity, novelty in thinking, and love for learning. We will use the literature as a basis for writing and grammar by reading closely, analyzing ideas, making connections, inferring information, and evaluating the work as a whole. Most assessments will be performance-based tasks in lieu of traditional tests. You may refer to the syllabus and class expectations for more information about class work and homework. Please have your necessary supplies so that our journey can begin!!
