Weston Newsletter
January/February Edition
January is Math Month! Please see calendar as you scroll down the page...
Dear Weston Families,
As we welcome in 2020, we tend to think about resolutions or changes we want to make for the year ahead. Often, we think about healthier lifestyles, getting organized, and other personal goals. This year, think of ways you can spend more quality time with your children. Snuggle up with a good book, make dinner together, or just spend time talking. Life gets so busy that we often let the little precious moments slip by as we try to get through our lists of things to do. Make a resolution to capture those precious moments and enjoy them with your sweet children each day.
The teachers and staff at Weston are also busy setting goals for our Wonders to help them achieve their personal best. Our team continues to work hard each day to find ways to provide extra support to students as well as enrichment opportunities for learning. You will be amazed at the growth and progress your children will make in the upcoming months. It is incredible for us to be a part of your children’s learning adventures.
Know that the Weston staff takes great pride in helping all children grow and be successful! It is an honor for us to be a part of each child’s life, and to help motivate each child to be a life-long learner. Furthermore, each family and Weston staff members make a vital team that collaboratively help each child be nurtured socially, emotionally, and academically. Here’s to our team...
Thanks for allowing us to share in some precious moments with your children each day.
Happy New Year!
In education,
Douglas Hibbs

Please follow the daily activities and have fun!

Safety at Weston
Please drive slowly down Cashin and in the parking lot!
Some items to think about...
Thank you for continuing to walk your child into the building from the parking lot. Students may join the bus line entering the building once they are on the sidewalk.
Also, thanks for your continuing cooperation with our safety procedures at Weston regarding buses, parent pick up and classroom visits. These procedures are not always convenient, but so important to insuring the safety of all of our Weston Wonders.
Having only one road to enter and exit the property (Weston) can be challenging. Please make sure when you are waiting in the loop line that you are not blocking driveways on Cashin. If by chance you happen to be blocking a driveway and a friendly neighbor needs to get out, please allow them to get out of their driveway. Thank you for being courteous to our neighborhood!
Weston Students show appreciation for our amazing bus drivers!
Back in November our first graders enjoyed a big feast together!
