Great sites for information on authors
How can we help our students to see themselves as authors?
A great way to help our students see themselves as writers is to peek inside the mind of some of our favorite authors and illustrators. This site contains links to some of my favorite author/illustrators who have well designed sites that can be used for teachers and students.

Author Interviews
Reading Rockets is an incredible resource for 100's of author interview videos. This is a great site for sharing authors with your students. It is also a wealth of knowledge for teachers as well as resources for parents and many of those resources are available in both English and Spanish.
