Summer Water Play Wednesdays
in the JLC Class
Arrive Prepared!
Please be sure to send your child dressed and ready to get wet and stay cool in the summer heat! On Wednesdays, children should arrive to Noah's Ark:
- Wearing their swim suit (or other clothing you don't mind getting wet.)
- Have sunblock applied prior to arrival
- Have a towel labeled with their name.
- Have an extra set of clothes in the plastic bin located in their cubby.
- Have a second set of closed toe shoes you don't mind getting wet-- water shoes are perfect! (You can find a pair for $5 or less at Five Below located in the North Brunswick Shoppes.)
Safety is our top priority!
Please note that Noah's Ark does not have a swimming pool, and does not take the children swimming. We do have a water table, sprinkler, and have the children participate in water related relay races and activities.
Additionally, we strongly encourage you to protect your child's skin from the sun. Sun block should be applied each morning before arrival. If your child will be present for afternoon gross motor (after 3 pm), you may bring a bottle of sunblock to Noah's Ark labeled with your child's name and complete a a permission slip so that a Noah's Ark Staff member can re-apply the sunblock prior to afternoon outdoor play.
