Relentless Pursuit of Excellence
Continue to push yourself and our students toward excellence. We know our end goal is to ensure our students are college and career ready, and leave prepared to succeed no matter where life takes them. We will accomplish this by planning well, by being concerted in our efforts daily to deliver high quality lessons, ad being intentional in how we support the remediation needs of our learners.
We can get this done. Excellence is possible!
In approximately one month, students will take the P-SAT. Please encourage our students to study and plan for success on this very important assessment.
Thank you for all you do daily to ensure Eisenhower is a school of excellence. Your support during this leadership transition has been noticed and appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mandele' C. Davis

4. After School tutorials began September 3, 2019. Please review the following expectations as you prepare to support student learning.
Tutorial Expectations for Teachers:
This time should be:
- Announced: Teachers should be proactive in requiring and reminding students to attend.
- Planned: Tutorials should be structured and have a clear focus and intended outcome. Teachers should think of tutorials as a mini-lesson with a planned reteach – not unstructured work time.
- Uninterrupted: This is an opportunity for students to receive additional instruction. Students who need to get makeup work or complete missing work may attend; however, the goal is to provide focused, skill-building reteaching and practice.
- Data-Driven: Teachers should choose topics based on student performance and need.
Please see Ms. Jackson for support regarding tutorials
