School Board Meeting Tuesday
The Richland Two Board of Trustees will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The board meeting will be called to order at 5:30 p.m. and the board will immediately adjourn into executive session.
Public session will resume at 6:30 p.m. At the board meeting, visitors will need to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

PARENT CLIMATE SURVEY
Each year, the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) administers a climate survey for parents and guardians. This year, the SCDE will collect these surveys using PowerSchool. View details and instructions here.

Annual Registration is the process that includes providing proof of residence, verifying student information, and reviewing and completing parent/guardian forms.

The Choice II Application period will close in seven days at 5 p.m. on May 30. FREE TUTORING WITH TUTOR.COM
The school year is winding down, and some students may find themselves in need of additional academic support. The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) and the South Carolina State Library (SCSL) are partnering to offer free online tutoring services, provided by Tutor.com, to any student in South Carolina.
In addition to tutoring in content areas, students may also drop off papers for review, seek help in test preparation, or ask specific questions about their work. The around-the-clock service is available seven days a week.

Columbia Place Mall
The TourHealth COVID-19 testing site previously located at 2600 Bull St. has moved to Columbia Place Mall, 7201 Two Notch Road. The new location offers both testing and vaccine services. In addition, at-home saliva test kits will be available for quick pickup, complete with paid shipping to the laboratory. The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 7 p.m., seven days a week.
Kelly Mills Sports complex
What: A new no-cost COVID Testing site
Where: Kelly Mills Sports complex at 171 Bombing Range Rd, Elgin, 29045.
When: Opens March 14. Hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mon-Sat (closed Sundays)
