November 2017

Director's Note

Pumpkinfest was a great success! Thank you to everyone who participated or who supported us! Take a look below for pictures! A special thank you to Kathy Spratt who helped us out by playing a pirate for Trunk or Treat. And a big thank you to the Record Herald for the great article they wrote about the Friends of the Carlisle Library book sale. You can see it here http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/local/warren-county/2017/10/06/carlisle-book-sale-turns-page/739788001/

The book sale was a success as well and all of the money raised will go back to helping with library projects.

November is going to be another busy month. Stuffed Animal Sleepover is coming up soon- it is one of my personal favorites! And our Therapy Dog, Phoebe, will be here November 18th. Phoebe is a certified trained therapy dog who will sit with your child while they read aloud to her! It is a great way for kids to build reading confidence!
