Some Important PE Updates from Coach ZMac

-We will be starting our Kids Heart Challenge on September 26th. The students will be learning about this wonderful event and how to be heart heroes during their PE class! If you would like to sign up before our kickoff date please read over the information that was sent home in your child's folder!

Homework

Homework will be sent home at the beginning of the week and is due at the end of the week.

1. A Letterland page with the spelling pattern and vocabulary words for the week will be posted on Parent Square. On Friday, your child will take a little quiz on some spelling diagnostic words (words that follow the rule they learned-not necessarily these exact words) and they will fill in the line on five sentences using the vocabulary words to make sure they understand them and can use them in context.

2. There is also a math page with a couple problems to complete each day of the week reviewing what we are doing in class.

These are OPTIONAL but encouraged!!! I do not count homework for a grade; this is extra practice to help them practice the skills we are learning in class. Students can earn a dojo point for turning in completed homework on time but will not lose any points if they don't.
