When You're Kind You Glow: This is our theme for the month of February. Our amazing PTA has arranged many fun activities around kindness. Feb. 13-17 will be Kindness Week. During this week students can bring canned food items to donate to those in need. In exchange for their canned food item they will be able to send a Val-O-Gram to someone at school. If students want to purchase Val-O-Grams they will be $0.25 each.
We will kick off Kindness Month on Feb. 6. Watch for information coming home that day or the week before. It is going to be a super fun month! What is better than focusing on being kind?! Thank you PTA for hosting this great tradition.

Yearbooks: If you are interested in a year book for your child, please see the flyer below. There is a big savings by ordering early! The copies available at the end of the year are limited. Thank you PTA for continuing to offer a yearbook for our students.

3rd Grade Google Docs and Email
We would like to inform you that the 3rd Grade classes will begin an introduction to Google Docs & Email over the course of the next month. First and second grade classes also have email addresses that they are able to log into, but they will not be taught to login or use their email or any Google products until 3rd grade.
Google Docs is an online word processing program that will be used throughout their school years. One of the advantages of Google Docs is that it allows your student to work on a project at school and then continue it at home. It also allows teachers & students to share files & allows for collaboration among students.
We invite you to log into Google Docs & Email with your child & become familiar with the program. If you have any questions, please contact Sheriece Farr at the following:
