Presidents' Update
Dear McKinley Families,
Last week Governor Evers announced the "Safer at Home" order has been extended through May 26th. The order also included the closure of all public and private schools for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. We know this was quite disappointing to every child, parent and teacher. We are trying to focus on all the positives that this "Safer at Home" is bringing to us, more family time, greater appreciation for all the teachers and a little more time to be present.
We will be celebrating teacher appreciation week, May 4 - 8th. The PTO will reaching out to the room parents to coordinate, so families, look for an email with instructions from your room parents within the week.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 14th, the last PTO Meeting of the 2020/21 school year. This will be a virtual meeting, so a link will be provided closer to the date.
