Fox Meterologist Speaks to Students
Third graders have launched a science unit with a focus on weather and climate. They looked at weather patterns in our region as well as other parts of the world. They considered what our society can do to reduce weather-related patterns. And they study how weather changes throughout the year. Students also track weather patterns and learned about weather from local meteorologist Mike Caplan from Fox 32. Mr. Caplan engaged our students in learning about how to be aware and respond to hazardous weather conditions. He also sent out a Half Day shoutout during his morning weather forecast.
