ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK AHEAD
COFFEE FELLOWSHIP IN THE BREEZEWAY
Coffee and ice water will be served every Sunday morning between the 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. worship services in the breezeway. Our hope is to provide an opportunity for attendees of both services to get to know one another. The first Sunday of each month donut holes will be served as part of Celebration Sundays.
CHANGES AHEAD WITH NEW SERVICE AND TIME CHANGE
Beginning Sunday, October 3, at 10:45 a.m., we will be offering a new worship service in Souers Hall. This service will include activities related to the theme of morning worship each week, with the hope of being more inclusive of all generations in a more casual, relaxed atmosphere. The nursery will be available for children 0-3 years of age. As a result of the new service time, the 9:30 a.m. worship service will return to meeting at 9:15 a.m. on October 3. Both early morning worship services (8:00 and 9:15 a.m.) will gradually return to the format we used prior to COVID, as safety permits. Thank you again for your patience! We are looking forward to all that God has in store.
SOUERS HALL UPDATE
Between now and the first of October, some much needed updates will begin in Souers Hall. The two valances above the stage will be removed and the mauve pink carpet and parquet flooring will be replaced with luxury vinyl flooring. Flooring supplies will be delivered on September 16, and installation will be September 20. Large area rugs will be used to help absorb sound and accent the red curtains, walls, and cement floor.
NEW OFFICE EMAIL ADDRESSES
Our church office personnel are now using new email addresses. Please check your junk and spam folders if you feel you are not receiving CLP emails. Our Accounting Clerk, Mary Undiano, can be contacted at accounting@clp.church with any questions related to giving statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, ordering supplies for ministry, and reimbursement requests for authorized ministry related expenses. Our Office Administrator, Ninva Ashoormaram, can be contacted at officeadmin@clp.church with administrative questions, scheduling appointments, calendaring, memorials, weddings, baptisms, announcements, and bulletin. Our info@clp.church email address will remain active and can also be used for inquiries. We have discontinued use of the officemanager@clp.church and churchassist@clp.church email addresses. Thank you!
DEADLINE FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS
As you plan and publicize various ministry activities, remember that all announcements must be submitted to the church office by 12:00 noon each Wednesday. This will allow sufficient time to prepare worship announcements and the weekly eNews. Please contact Ninva in the church office or email officeadmin@clp.church if you have specific questions. Thank you for your cooperation.
