Weekly Update 03.26.2020
Keeping us connected during the COVID-19 school closure
Principal's Post
Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I hope this message finds you and your family healthy and safe. As you have seen from Dr. Harner’s most recent blog, there have been changes in our education plan since our last weekly newsletter. More specifics on the details of QCSD’s state-required Continuity of Education plan will be coming out in blog this Friday. From a Trumbauersville school perspective, we have enjoyed connecting with students and families over the last week and a half and we are excited to be back in a more regular connection with students and families!
We continue to use Seesaw as our main connection with families. In addition to parent communications, there are multiple communications that go directly to the students. If you have not already done so, please have your student(s) log into their Seesaw account to make sure they are seeing all of the updates from their teachers.
Please take some time to read through the rest of the weekly newsletter and the resources within. During this difficult time, we are looking to support our students and our school community. To that end, if you are experiencing hardships and are looking further for supports, please reach out to us. While we may not have specific answers, we will work connection you with others who can help.
Kindly,
Adam

A Note from the Counseling Office:
Hello Trumbauersville families! As we continue to move forward during this time of uncertainty it is important to not become overwhelmed by fear of the unknown. Although there are many factors relating to these current events that are outside of our control, there are many that we are able to control as well, so it is important to differentiate for ourselves and for our children, and to practice letting go of the worry surrounding those things that are outside of our circle of influence.
Is your child spending an excessive amount of time worrying about things that are outside of their control? Feel free to take a look at the following video, and view the link below for a fun activity to help them differentiate between the two.

Please do not hesitate to reach out during this time with any questions, or for additional resources on how to help our children cope during this stressful time. Stay safe!
