End-of-the-Year Preparations
With just six weeks remaining for the final marking period, this is the perfect time to take stock over goals achieved and goals remaining. Although a considerably busy time of year for the Guidance Department, this is a time I really enjoy, celebrating our student achievements with them and their families. As we move into the end of the school year, I am really looking forward to seeing what wonderful things await our students!
Students, here are some reminders to help conclude your year or help to answer any questions:
If you have questions about your chosen classes for next year, you can review your course requests on the Parent Portal under "Schedule."
Any course request changes must be submitted in writing with a parent signature. Please be sure to have these requests in before the end of the school year (June 23rd). Course changes should be specific. For example, drop Spanish 3 to add Intro to Engineering.
Note: in September there will not be any elective (aka activity) changes allowed.
Rising Sophomores (Class of 2025), you will begin the new school year taking Drivers Theory. Exciting!
For our student athletes, keep in mind you want to conclude the year passing at least 6 of your classes to maintain eligibility to play a fall sport.
With Heart,
Ms. Bush
