MAP Testing will be on Tuesday & Wednesday!
ELA - Mrs. Templeton
The students will be having silent walk through Monday with their Harlem Renaissance brochures. They will use easybib to create a bibliography of their resources.
The students will read continue reading "One Friday Morning" by Langston Hughes.
Weekly article will be due on Friday.
Social Studies - Mr. Creswell
We will have a test on the Cold War on Thursday. Then we will start learning about India.
Dance - Mrs. Brewington
Thanks to everyone that helped make the performance a success! We watched the performance and reflections are due March 24th. We will begin a fitness unit after MAP testing.

Drama Performance - Thursday, March 28th, @ 6:00 - Admission $5!
Drama - Mrs. Keenan
Wednesday, March 27- Dress Rehearsal after school from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Please have a ride prepared to pick up students at the front of the school promptly at 5:00 pm!
Thursday, March 28 - SHOW! Students are to arrive in costume to Mrs. Keenan's room by 5:30 pm. The performance will begin at 6:00 pm and is $5 per person.
ROTATION students should wear black pants with no distinguishing logos or stripes (leggings, sweats, yoga, black jeans) and a plain black shirt (long or short sleeve is fine) and athletic shoes/sneakers. Other costume pieces are provided by Keenan.
FOCUS students should wear the following based on character that they represent:
Roppets:
black pants (yoga, leggings, sweats, black jeans)
athletic shoes/sneakers
any type of tee shirt to be worn under hoodie (hoodie will be provided by Keenan)
Doctors:
tie-dyed shirt
(rest of costume will be provided by Keenan)
Workers:
any type of tee shirt to be worn under coveralls (coveralls will be provided by Keenan)
converse type shoes
Teenagers:
jeans or black pants
tee shirt, sweatshirt, button up or other "teen" type clothing
shoes to go with outfit

7th Grade SS
Students will test on the Cold War on Tuesday. They will begin a study of the creation of Israel and conflicts in the Middle East.
7th Grade ELA
Students will create an informative essay using all of the the good writing skills that they have been practiciing in class. They will also have ariticles to read and analyze as they prepare for state testing.
Science - Mrs. Griffin
The students will start on genetics this week. They will assignments on Study Island and USA Test Prep for grades this week. There will be graded classwork, homework and lab work.
