Dear Lions Park Families,

It was an amazing week at Lions Park. You and your children made it a memorable week for our staff. Mrs. Nelson and the PTO orchestrated meals, gifts, decorations and more. None of it would have been possible without your support of the PTO throughout the year and your donations at this time. On behalf of our staff, I want to thank you all. While the greatest gift is the time spent with your children, we all felt very appreciated this week.

We had a wonderful Fine Arts night thanks to our students, staff, and families. Mrs. Merrill did a wonderful job showcasing the artwork of all of our talented Lions Park students. Our chorus students put on impressive performances under the direction of Mrs. Koehlinger. Mrs. Kennedy organized a Book Fair that students and families enjoyed shopping at, and the funds raised due to your generosity will help to buy more books for all to enjoy in our Learning Resource Center.

If you came to Fine Arts Night, you likely saw the three full tables of "lost and found" items. Please encourage your child to come look soon or feel free to stop by yourself. We will donate all unclaimed items.

Happy Mother's Day to all moms and to all who play a special role in the life of a child. We value the partnership we have with the families of our students.
