Principal's Note...
Dear Thornhill Community,
I hope everyone is enjoying this warm weather. As nice as the weather has been, I must say I wonder how we are doing in regards to having enough water in Northern California. I personally am hoping for a lot more snow this winter.
Don't forget our auction coming up in just over 2 weeks! I hope to see everyone there.
Highlight of the Week
Without a doubt, my favorite thing about Thornhill is the kids! This week, I had the honor of being interviewed for the student newspaper by fourth grader Zoe. I must admit that some of the questions were very hard to answer. Questions like, "What is you favorite food?" "What is your favorite color?" and "What were you like in school?" made me have to think...At some point during the interview, the young journalist who was writing notes let me know that she was summarizing my answers. I am so glad to know our students are becoming great writers. Thank you, Zoe, for taking time during your lunch to interview me. I look forward to reading the student newspaper.
Have a great weekend!
Mr. Daubenspeck
Zoe did a great job interviewing me for the school paper this week!
