Tutor Training

Help an Adult Learn to Read Better!

Do you love to read? Share that love of reading with an adult who struggles with literacy skills. Our tutor training course will teach you about phonics, word patterns, vocabulary development, reading comprehension and fluency. Once you complete the 12-hour course, you are matched with one adult who needs help. Tutors and students meet in public places such as libraries for an hour or two each week. There is a $25 fee for the textbook used in this course.
