The 1900 Storm- The 1900 Storm was a hurricane that hit Galveston on September 8, 1900. It was devastating and killed about 6000 people.
The Battleship- The last battleship that was in both World War I and World War II.
The Battle of San Jacinto- One day in 1836 Texas troops attacked the Mexican army that had set up camp there. They shouted things like, "Remember the Alamo!" and "Remember Goliad!"
