Jaguar Staff Updates: Happy May! The Finale
Happy MAY!
It's MAY! With only three full weeks, a few days of school remaining; we are well into our final days of the school year. Our scholars have 18 more days until we conclude the school year. This entire year has felt very different, but as I have repeatedly shared, I am very proud of the team's efforts to do their very best in and out of the classroom. I am also very proud of our scholar's and their resistance, and yes, parents, I am proud of you, as well. Change is very hard, mid-year adjustments are even harder, but WE have weathered the storm. Thank you for hanging in there and looking ahead to the light at the end of the tunnel!
There are many positive outcomes to pausing for a moment to regain your composure, pausing to take a deep breath, and sometimes pausing to simply think more clearly. Well, the pause is right around the corner. Hang tight, it’s coming!
The next 18 school days will be very busy for our scholars and teachers. Please be sure to review all of the happenings for this month. Your active engagement is appreciated. Our teachers are preparing to close out the semester by collecting final assignments, reviewing incomplete assignments with scholars, and pushing for a successful end. Parents, we need your help. Please take a moment to review Infinite Campus and peek at your scholar's grades, including missing work. Do not hesitate to reach out to your scholar's teacher(s) to garner more support. Let’s all commit to ending the year with a deeper understanding of how to improve over the summer!
We have a very busy 18 days ahead of us. Next week, we celebrate our teachers! It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, we also have close out activities, honors and recognitions, celebrations and retirements underway. Please stay tuned and connected by reviewing the monthly SMORE.
