Thanksgiving Food Drive

Kindness and Caring x 250 x 5!!!! Oh My!!!!!

Thanksgiving is a beautiful time to celebrate and embrace all we have in family and friends.

It is also a wonderful time to teach children empathy and how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Our can food drive was a beautiful success. Our Mathews spirit of kindness and heart is second to none. Our goal was to donate 250 cans. This would be the equivalent of one can donation per family. We have clearly surpassed our goal and the children are truly excited.

We are excited to share that we easily exceeded 1,300 cans!

We look forward to our drawing when we return on Monday, December 2 to read to classes!

Thank you for participating as a family in this meaningful act of kindness. It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to 'be the difference in the world.'
