Buildings
Dear Parents
We hope you enjoyed our wonderful mini show about “Pete the Cat”. It was lovely having so many parents cheering for our little ones. Please take a look at some of the picture in our Flickr Album.
This week we have discussed our focus question: “What happens inside a building?” The exterior sign of a building can help children’s predictions about the inside of the structure. Environmental print on buildings are a great way to reinforce alphabet knowledge. On Friday we had a special site visit to ISP’s Performing Arts Center. With amazement children explored our theater and talked to Mr. Adam about the function of this magnificent structure. We are also working on our design and creation of our own buildings. Each child has chosen different structures such as police stations, towers and castles. Soon we will have own PK3.2 box city!
Have a lovely weekend,
