What is Alzheimer's?

  • Alzheimer's disease is a progressive, degenerative disorder that attacks the brain's nerve cells. When these cells die it results in loss of memory, thinking and language skills, and behavioral changes.

  • Is there a cure?

    Unfortunatly there is no cure or procedure for Alzehiemer's yet. There are some treatments that can help with some of the symptoms of Alzehiemer's like sleep disturbance, agression, depression and other behavioral problems.

    Is there anything you can do?

    There are a few things you can do to reduce your risk of Alzheimer's such as eating right, exercising, staying mentally and socially active, and keeping low stress. Doing this gives you a chance to slow down or prevent Alzheimer's symptoms.
