Wolves Weekly Message

Principal's Message

Dear Wakefield Middle School Families,

Congratulations to our spring student athletes for successfully completing their spring season, despite a number of schedule changes. Our Girls' Track Team went undefeated! Way to go Lady Wolves!

We have about two more weeks of school (12 school days) remaining before we begin the EOG Tests. Teachers have been working with classes and small groups of students to prepare them for these tests. Please make sure that students are completing their homework and other assignments each night!

We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Alison Cleveland

Tuesday Voting

Please be aware that Wakefield Middle School is a voting site. The Media Center will be closed to students on Tuesday as it is the polling location.

If you carpool, please plan for extra time in the morning and afternoon due to extra traffic in the parking lot. Please also be aware of extra pedestrian traffic in the parking lot.

ALL Virtual Academy Students

If you are a VA student, please complete this short form indicating whether or not you need transportation for EOG tests! We need all VA students/families to complete this form.

2022- 2023 School Year

We are finalizing our staffing plan and class schedule for next school year, both of which are driven by student enrollment. It is vitally important that we have an accurate count of students.

If your students are rising 7th or 8th graders and NOT planning to attend Wakefield Middle School in the fall, please email Ms. Morrison (pmorrison@wcpss.net) as soon as possible. Thank you!
