Technical Theatre Workshops

Fun with Lights!

An exciting new opportunity!

Have you ever been curious how theatre works behind the scenes? Are you craving more opportunities to expand your skills as a theatre practitioner? Just like trying new things? If so, then check out the Technical Theatre Workshop series! Every week, we will be offering a hands-on workshop on various aspects of technical theatre. No experience is necessary!

This week, we offer out first workshop, Fun With Lights, where we explore the exciting world of theatrical lighting.

Fun with Lights

Students will have the opportunity to learn about the medium of dramatic lighting. First, students will be given an basic overview of lighting theory, and will then have the chance to get ‘up close and personal’ with lighting instruments. Finally, students will have the chance to experiment with angles of light, color, gobo patterns, and more!
