Dismissal Process
Important Information Regarding Pikmykid
I would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work together to ensure our dismissal process continues to run smoothly.
Just a few reminders that can assist our office staff during the dismissal process:
- Please make your pickup selection (car line or walk up line) on the Pikmykid app no later than 2:30pm. The app will not allow for changes after this time.
- If you selected the walker line or car line on the app and decide last minute you want to change the mode of pick up, this change cannot be honored last minute, because students are sorted by the mode you selected before being dismissed.
- The office staff uses the app daily to determine what mode you have selected. If you initially requested multiple dates for a pickup selection and something changes, please be sure to adjust those dates on the app before 2:30pm.
- Notes are also welcome to confirm if changes are made. If you send in a note, please specify if it will the car line or walk up line.
- Only announce for the students that you are picking up that day, do not include students who were absent or who may have left early.
- If your child needs to be buckled into their car seat, we ask that you please assist them as quickly and safely as you can. This will help ease traffic congestion and help the line continue to flow.
- To keep the line of cars moving, please move forward to the next available space when it is safe to do so. Your child may not be released until you have moved up to the next available spot.
- If you select to use the "walker" option, please wait in your vehicle until 3:15pm. Do not congregate in the dismissal area once you have picked up your child(ren), as this will slow down the process for those waiting to pick up their child.
How do I delegate pickup to another person on the Pikmykid App?
o Select child you want to change pick up
o Choose “change pick up”
o Select the date and if you want the pick up to be repeated
o Hit “next”
o Select ONE pick up mode
o Car line 1 (drive through circle)
o Walker (Person walks to window to get child)
o Choose “I will pick up” or click change selection and choose
person who will pick up your child.
***PLEASE NOTE ALL PEOPLE NEED TO BE ON THE REGISTRATION CARD TO PICK
UP A CHILD***
**ALL CHANGES ARE TO BE MADE PRIOR TO 2:30 P.M.***
