Two are stronger than one if the the two act as one
"The thing I loved the most - and still love the most about teaching - is that you can connect with an individual or a group, and see that individual or group exceed their limits."
-Mike Krzyzewski
Many time in this newsletter I have spoken about the power of connecting with individuals. Ultimately, enough individuals becomes a group by default. Once that group feels that connection, their is an incredible power in that. In the last 110 school days, give or take a day or two, I have had the pleasure of watching these connections you have made with individual students grow and grow to help us create a group that can and will exceed their limits. This is very powerful, it has become so palpable that it is evident in our classes, our hallways, and at our activities...for that, I thank you!
Upcoming Events

Behind the Scenes...at the forefront
Though she might be difficult to spot in the above picture, Ms. Phelps is there! She is working diligently alongside her students preparing them for our upcoming ACT test on April 19th in her junior English class. Ms. Phelps wouldn't have it any other way. She takes a lot of good-natured teasing because of her diminutive size when in reality she is a giant when it comes to what she does for our students on an academic and personal level. On any given day she can be seen drowning in a stack of papers, helping students understand an elaborate concept, or walking down the hallway at the brisk pace that few of us could keep up with that mimics her energy when it comes to the betterment of our students. Feel free to ask Ms. Phelps what she is doing to prepare our juniors for their upcoming ACT.
