Mr. B's Spring Break Lights
Heading for the home stretch, the final quarter!
What a little warmth and sun can do!
The west side of our school has come to life. These plants are the result of work done by a garden club a few years ago. We thank them for their work. There are signs of their work all around our school.
It is a community garden
Our rain garden, designed by Amandy Biondo, one our 5K teachers, is alive and ready to bloom. To make the garden become an even more beautiful place, we need your help. Please contact Amandy at school, biondoa@merton.k12.wi.us , if you are interested in being a rain garden helper. Her class gotr their hands dirty by trimming the plants of their winter stubble.
Time to attend to our garden
The plants have been trimmed by our little helpers.
Work of many hands will help our garden grow.
FOSS science science in grade 1
Two of our first grade classes, Ms. Losik and Mrs. Rummel, have been studying plants. Part of the study is the hands-on of planting the seeds and watching the plants grow. The students track the growth during their classes.
Book Room is Open
Our teachers will be able to access leveled books and chapter books right from our library. These books were moved from the Professional Development room at the east end of our school to be more easily accessible by our staff. The books will be available to the kids via the teachers. It is an exciting time for our staff and many thanks to the staff members who made this happen.
