Great Lives from History: American Women covers prominent individuals from the 1600s through the present! This 3-volume set features 700+ essays on notable women in fields such as politics, civil rights, literature, education, journalism, science, and sports. Each essay is divided into several sections: "Early Life" provides facts about the individual's upbringing, "Life's Work" is a chronological account of how she gained recognition in her field, and "Significance" provides an overview of the impact of the individual's accomplishments.
