Summer Reading Is Here!
Welcome to
Summer Reading! Students may feast on an array of literature activities at their own pace. The beauty of this
optional reading program is that students have many choices to select from to build their own world of reading. Whether it's a book, a class, writing, book clubs, digital media, students will enjoy the freedom of choice.
The library no longer requires or provides online reading logs. This means you can enjoy reading or engage in literacy activities without a log. On Friday, September 29, 2023 the entire Mayfield Junior School community will enjoy a day of free dress and a library treat (bookmark & multicolored pencil) to celebrate the conclusion of summer reading.
Below, please select the grade level Google Doc for the grade your student will enter in Fall 2023. For example, your current first grader would select the second grade Google Doc. In each Doc, you will find suggested reading titles and a fun summer reading bingo card.
