What to Wear:
Since the days are hot and dry, be sure to bring quick-dry T-shirts, shorts, and sneakers, for the dusty atmosphere. But when the evenings are fairly chilly, make you have a light jacket and some long pants. And don't forget to bring your binoculars and your camera!
When to Visit:
If you travel to Serengeti, keep in mind that the best time to visit is not during the long rains in April and May. There are also certain times during the year for special events: January-February for wildebeest calving and June-September for general wildlife viewing with the chance of seeing a wildebeest crossing! You'll never be bored with safari day tours, hippo pools, balloon tours and camping available!
Animals and Plants:
There are lions, crested porcupines, giraffes, baboons, and even honey badgers to name a few. Even the vegetation is beautiful with umbrella trees, El-Nino flowers, Mexican poppies and sausage trees. Check out the pictures below to get a better idea of the lovely scenery!
If you go on this trip, always make sure you stick with your tour guide or you may hurt this beautiful environment, or it may even hurt you! Malaria is also a risk when traveling to Serengeti but just make sure to check with your doctor to bring some medication.
