Where Learning Takes Flight

A Note from Mrs. Tallent

Hi Fall Creek Families,

This week we enjoyed seeing families join us for our Boosterthon Fun Run! Our students had a blast and can't wait to slime Mr. Griffin and me. We were blown away by everyone's generosity and can't wait to start ordering interactive smart boards. Our goal is replace the projectors in classrooms in a systematic way that will benefit as many students as possible.

We would also like to say THANK YOU to all our students and parents for helping us have a successful Book Fair as well! The students were so excited to shop and share what they were buying. I hope parents were able to see the excitement of their little learners! There is nothing better than enjoying a good book as a family!

Since the program’s creation in 1998, more than 6,800 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own. Each school year hundreds of thousands of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on millions of children by volunteering millions of hours in their local schools through this amazing one-of-a-kind program. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
