My name is Laura Moore and I am happy to be your ITS this summer. The best way to contact me is through an email lmoore4@neisd.net or Instant Messenger. You can stop me in the hall, however, if I am in the middle of a task or helping someone, I can't guarantee I will remember who I talked to. Putting a request in writing will ensure assistance. My office will be the room in between the library and computer lab, and my hours are from 8:00-12:00

• There is only one computer lab located on campus. Click here to access the computer lab electronic schedule. Grades K-2 will have priority.
  
• When logging into a VDI computer, have students choose the Madison hub and then enter their Active Directory credentials. PLEASE make sure you leave the computer lab neat and organized when your class leaves. All headphones need to be hanging over the thin client, students need to be logged off, and chairs need to be pushed in. Computers need to be left on for the next class. I will be responsible for turning them off at the end of every week. Students should be supervised at all times and must have an educational purpose while on the computer.
  
• Many students will not know their Active Directory credentials. You will need to print them from in the iStation classroom management portal (choose Fox Run). If you do not see your students, please email David Haddad at dhadda@neisd.net

• There are 3 carts available for checkout. Click here to access the Chromebook cart schedule. The time increments are 1 hour due to the fact that you have to get the cart from my office, pass them out and then put them back in an orderly manner.

• The carts will be housed in my office (in between library and computer lab). You will need to come to my office and sign the cart out. You will then need to return the cart when finished. Please do not send students.
• You are responsible for any missing computers.
• The carts need to remain intact. Please do not distribute small numbers of computers to different classrooms. This is how they get lost.
• If you have never used iStation on a Chromebook or don't know how to use one, please refer to this document.
• I leave at 12:00 so the carts will not be available after that time.

Active Directory (VDI and ThinkPads) - Students should already have their Active Directory credentials memorized, however, we know some will not. You will need to print them from in the iStation classroom management portal (choose Fox Run). Remember that the only difference between Active Directory and iStation logins is that iStation has ne in front of the student ID number.

iStation - Several imports will occur during the first couple of weeks to add all of the students to the Fox Run SS campus. This will also add them to your classroom management portal. If students cannot login or you do not see your class, please email dhadda@neisd.net. Students will use the following credentials to login:

• username = Same as Active Directory,
  
• password = ne------- (student ID number)
  
• Enable Parent Portal Instructions

Think Through Math/Fastt Math- The district does not have the ability to import students into your TTM class. Follow these directions to add them manually. Students will use the following credentials to login:

• username = Same as Active Directory,
  
• password = ne------- (student ID number)
  

Chromebooks - If students are not able to login to a Chromebook, please email me with their legal name and student ID number. Students will use the following credentials to login:

• username = Same as Active Directory,
  
• password = ne------- (student ID number)

• The Google Translate Chrome Extension will allow your students to view any webpage in Spanish. This works perfectly with Think Through Math. Students will need to install the extension every time they use the VDI computer as it will not hold once they log off. Watch this video for a quick tutorial.
