Consider a donation to Madison PTA
If you're looking for end-of-year giving opportunities, the Madison PTA is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible. Simply write a check to Madison PTA, write "donation" in the Memo line, and send it in to the attention of Madison PTA treasurer. Monies support awesome opportunities to enhance the educational experience at Madison like Multicultural Day, Explore More Day, assemblies, field trips, classroom needs, and much, much more. Last year, Madison PTA spent more than $65 per student.

Madison Cares to make blankets
We have several fun and meaningful service related projects coming up in 2015! Our first 2015 Madison Cares project will take place on Mon., Jan. 26 in the LLC. We will be making fleece blankets for Project Linus. Please have your student join us during the recess portion of their lunch hour.
In January, we will collect items for “birthday bag” donations that benefit the People’s Resource Center in Wheaton. More specifics on this coming up when school resumes.
St. Baldrick’s hair donations
With the holiday season upon us, many of you may be “grooming” your kids over the break. If your daughter is interested in donating her hair for St. Baldrick’s Day on March 20, you may want to consider how much you cut now. This year, we will donate hair to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths. The length requirement is 8 inches.

Upgrading to a new tablet? Donate your old one to Madison
Madison teachers have found many ways for refurbished iPads/other tablets /handheld devices to complement the curriculum.
