Mighty Tritons
We are in full Master Schedule mindset. You will find your preference link below. Let's get started. Please be mindful of the following:
A. Preference Sheet! Please fill out this google.doc with your information regarding your teaching preference for next year. We cannot guarantee anything. We are going to start the process of creating the master schedule based on our projected enrollment and student preference. LINK
B. Progress Report. It's hard to believe but March 1st almost here. Please look out for information from Laura about submitting grades in a timely fashion.
C.Update to ELM Handbook. Here is the LINK.
D. Promotion. Students who pass all 8th grade classes will have all other classes validated and make them eligible to participate in the promotion ceremony. There will be specials cases for students who passed all of their classes but failed one this semester. We shall talk more about this issue in March.
E. Summer Opportunities. Be on the lookout for some great teaching and learning opportunities. Below are some of my favorites!

Special thanks to our ELD teachers who gave the ELPAC to all of their STEL’s and LTEL’s this week. Their willingness to test for us means students were not pulled out of their other academic classes. Great job ladies!

Enthusiasm (Triton Trait of the Month!)
Enthusiasm is putting your whole heart into what you do. Whatever the task, no matter how big or small, it will always turn out better if you put your whole heart into it! A great thing about enthusiasm is that it's contagious! Your spark of energy and excitement can ignite others to live their lives with enthusiasm.
Its also important to remember that enthusiasm is be more than just showing energy and excitement. It is also represented by a passion for a cause or project. One does not have to be the life of the party to build enthusiasm. By treating even the smallest, insignificant jobs as important, paying attention to details even when the newness wears off, and aiming to be an encourager to others, we build relationships and share enthusiasm with everyone around us.
In the weeks to come, be sure to nominate students for Triton of the Week who exemplify these traits of Enthusiasm.
