Clinton Cougar Newsletter
Dear Clinton Families,
Our 1st grade recently celebrated the 100th day of school, and this year it feels like even more of a success than usual! We are so grateful to have the students in class and learning with us.
Parent surveys about our school and your child's teacher are currently available on your MyDSD account. We hope you will take the time to log in and provide us with some feedback. They will be open until March 5th.
Spring will be upon us before you know it, and with spring comes end of year state testing. If you would like to opt your child out of end of level testing. Please contact either Mrs. James or Mrs. Lundell in the office.
Our Student Council is sponsoring a donation drive this month to benefit the Lantern House in Ogden. Donations will be due by February 26th. Watch for details on what is needed below.
Our Hope Squad is a group of students who promote positive social interactions. This month our Hope Squad gave out Kindness awards to celebrate students who were caught being kind.
Please note, there is no school on February 15th and 16th. We have President's Day, followed by a teacher Professional Day.

For the month of February, we are concentrating on communication. There are communication bloopers and communication boosters. Examples of communication bloopers are interrupting and ignoring another person. Examples of communication boosters are listening and supporting. Supporting takes it to the next level by actually supporting another person by helping them or showing action. Check out the app for the Social and Emotional Learning Game Room by clicking here!
