We had two wonderful performances this week - congratulations to Julia Rhyne, Ben Rawlinson, Will Rawlinson, Philip Rawlinson, and Gabe Boyd on their outstanding performance at the Peace Center Tuesday evening. Congratulations also to Bess Bridwell on a phenomenal Senior Recital Thursday evening. These Senior students should be so proud of all they accomplished during their time at the FAC!

Next Week - FAC Spirit Week and Staff Appreciation Week!
Just a reminder - when dressing up on a given day, please be sure to follow the dress code and expectations for appropriateness. We want to be able to participate in Spirit Week while still being able to complete our tasks in the studios.
Please take a look at the below images to learn about the themes for each day. We look forward to active participation by our students!

REMINDERS
Change to Attendance Plan
On Wednesday, the South Carolina legislature passed a bill requiring schools to provide parents with an option of full-time in-person school. Beginning Monday, April 26, your student has the option to return to full-time, five-day-a-week in-person instruction OR remain on the 75% plan with eLearning one day each week plus one Friday out of every four. This means there will likely be more students in our classrooms and hallways. The FAC classrooms that have needed to be reconfigured have been modified to accommodate more students. We have been able to maintain social distancing OR plexiglass dividers due to our class sizes. Dance classes will incorporate groupings to ensure social distancing is maintained. Masks are still required when students are moving and whenever students are not at least six feet apart.
In summary:
Parents have the option to keep their child/children on the current 75% attendance plan OR send their child/children to school 5 days a week
If remaining on the 75% plan, the attendance days stay the same. Students may not choose different days to attend. Please stick to your color day plan.
Please have your child communicate with their FAC Instructor regarding which plan they will be choosing. This will be very helpful to us relative to planning and attendance.
