This book group will meet 5 times and cover 3 chapters at each meeting. We will share and connect our experiences with language learners with instructional strategies to support language acquisition for all students.

Outcomes include:

  1. Participants will know how to apply instructional strategies for ELs in K-12 mainstream classes.
  2. Participants will understand how McRel identified strategies to enhance student achievement.
  3. Learn about the importance of stages of second language acquisition and their instructional implications.

**The first 10 registered participants will receive a copy of the book at no cost!

This book study may be taken for one credit through St. Mary's University for $140. During registration, please indicate in the notes area if you will be taking this course for credit.
