2022 Graduation Announced
Attention Seniors and Their Families:
This is all the information I have currently. As additional information is made available, I will provide that on our weekly newsletters.
Attendance Recovery for the First Semester
Winter Break is Coming...
If you have any questions about the schedule, please contact the school at 817-815-7100. We are asking for no early dismissals on this day. This traditionally has been an extremely high volume day for early dismissals and the wait time for families can be unusually long. Additionally, students will be engaging in activities that will make it difficult to usher them to the office in a timely manner.
End of Course Re-Testing Next Week
December 7: US History and English 1
December 8: Algebra 1
December 9: Biology and English II
December 10: Make Up Tests
Again, students have been contacted about what tests and locations to report to for testing. If you have any questions about this, please contact Mrs. Grubbs at linda.grubbs@fwisd.org.
Senior Families: FAFSA/TASFA
Senior Parents: The FAFSA/TASFA forms for the 2022-2023 school year are open! These forms are extremely important as they qualify your student for financial aid, and it is now a graduation requirement from the state. The priority deadline to complete the application is January 15th, so it is important that you and your student work on this ASAP!
For information about the FAFSA application, you can follow this link: https://collegeforward.org/college-resources/fafsa-101/
For information about the TASFA application, you can follow this link: https://collegeforward.org/college-resources/tasfa-101/
You can contact the BMHS GO Center at (682) 719-5947 with any questions you have.
T3 Pledge for Juniors and Seniors
The Reindeer Games are Back!
We are so excited to bring back the Reindeer Games on December 17th.
High School
This is a Finals make up day so we want to provide a fun opportunity for the kids before we leave for Winter Break. Student Council is hosting a dodgeball tournament at the Reindeer Games and students are allowed to make up teams. Teams must be between 7-10 people, and the entry fee is $20 (that’s for the whole TEAM not per person). We will start registration on December 6th in Miss DeVaul’s room. It is first come first serve so make sure you see her on December 6th to register your team. If your student would like to watch the teams compete they can buy a ticket starting December 6th in the mornings before school or during C lunch. Tickets to watch the tournament will be $1! If you do not purchase a ticket by December 16th you will NOT be able to go to the event so make sure you get your tickets sooner than later!
Middle School
Middle school students will also be hosting a fun activity on December 17th as well! This event will be free of charge! All we ask is that we do not have any early dismissals as there will not be any easy way to pull students from the gymnasium during these reindeer games.
