Middle School Art Class

We are excited to announce that starting this Friday Ms. Alway will be teaching art for middle school. Ms. Alway has a strong background in art and is excited to share her expertise with our students.

KAES Booster Club Card Fundraiser

This weekend is the last push for our Booster Club Card fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who participated. At this time we have raised around $8,000.00 toward our playground.

3rd Grade Goes into Surgery

The 3rd grade started the 3rd quarter off in surgery. Students put on their gloves, hair nets, doctor coats, and booties and began surgically removing words and parts of words to review subject content. It was a really cool way to integrate science and language arts.

MAP Testing Next Week

MAP testing will take place next week. MAP testing will help us to see how each student is growing and pinpoint areas that need more focus. Please help your child do their best by getting a good night's sleeping, eating nutritiously, exercising and deciding to stay focused. Supporting your child's class with healthy snacks will also be a big hit with all the kids. Ask your child's teacher how you can help.

Martain Luther King Holiday (No School)

Please remember that next friday is a half day for the MLK Holiday. We will let out at 12:00pm on Friday Jan. 13, 2023 and will not have school on Monday, Jan 16, 2023. School will start on Tuesday Jan. 17, 2023.

2nd Quarter Awards Assembly

This week we had our 2nd quarter awards assembly. So proud of all our students who have worked so hard. It is always a good time to affirm your child by encouraging them on what they have done and are working on.
